I grew up in Strathpeffer, youngest daughter to John and Alison MacMillan who ran a very friendly newsagents within the village.

On finishing my education at Dingwall Academy I attended Strathclyde University where I obtained a BA in Accounting and Finance. I then joined Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Glasgow where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS in 2002. During my time at PwC I was involved in a number of large multinational audits which took me all over the UK.

Following my marriage in 2003, I returned to Inverness where I began work with a medium sized accountancy firm called Tenon Ltd. In 2007, I decided to move to a smaller owner managed business in Dingwall to gain experience with the smaller, family run type business.

In 2010, I took a giant leap and began my own business and now five years on I am delighted with my varied portfolio of clients and different challenges that present themselves each day.

When I am not at work, my two young children and two dogs keep me very busy.

I am also a netball player and coach and I am currently involved with voluntary coaching at both my local primary school and the primary level children who attend my netball club.
